Furthermore, in continuation of a series of programs aimed at supporting pupils and students especially those living in mountainous and remote areas, at the end of last January, Kinh Do Corporation in cooperation with the Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh city gave 25 sets of desktop computers worth VND 150million to Thanh An Secondary School in Can Gio district. It’s known that Thanh An island is one of the poorest communes in Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City. Due to the island’s isolation from the mainland, pupils living here have access only to IT theory without any practice. So, the computer classroom built with the help of Kinh Do just days before the New Year Festival bears a practical meaning of providing access to IT for pupils, thus making a significant contribution to better material and spiritual conditions for pupils in Thanh An poor island commune.
